First bag of halves. Waited 4 months for this one. 61 - D 64 - D x4 66 x2 67 x5 68 x5 1987 - D gem I just hope that all the pennies and dimes I found were not counted as 50 cent pieces.

Holy crap. Nice haul. How many dollars in a bag of halves? If I remember correctly a box is $500.
Went to a different branch today and bought all the halves they had. Wopping $2 worth. As the teller put them on the table I got excited because the bottom one had a visable yellow/greenish tone to it. Tarnished silver maybe? Nope. Just a gross dirty clad.

@ CoinHuntingDrew I do not keep NIFC at the time. Only one of each to fill up an album the rest get tossed back.

4 boxes yesterday. Box 1 had a 1964 ender. In the same roll was also a 2014 Total of 3 1964's and a 40%er. The other 3 boxes were skunks. I did find a MAD in one of the boxes.

Arby96 writes: " I also pulled 2-98P with a very common die crack coming off the lower front of the neck. " I just went through my 3rd box and found several of these 98P Coins also. No silver to report but I did find this interesting coin. I put it in the 2x2 so that you can tell how the coin looks when flipped over.

@Elaine5006 That is most likely a Magicians coin. If you bounce the coin it will have a dull thud to it rather than a ringing sound like a normal half dollar. If it rings like a normal half dollar then you have a very valuable rotated die error.

nice bag carlos, and 64s jack, nice work all. I just got the quad-skunk, moved pickup day from friday. I found my first Magicians coin a few weeks ago, rattled it around in glass to open it like suggested here. worked like a charm. i only found it because the machine rejected it. thud test confirmed quickly.

Box 8. No silver but. 3 NIFC and an impaired 92 proof and a 2011p I needed for my album! Just a 2008D and then proofs and silver until I am caught up!
