Good Morning, I am now on an 8 box skunk streak with no silver found, 4 boxes this morning I pulled 2-Clad Proofs, 73S, and 79S, also 3-NIFC. What was interesting about my last 2 boxes I searched was every roll was a double ender of the 1976 Bicentennial 99 of them were double reverse enders. What are the odds of that? I think someone at the feds was board and had to have done this on purpose. If you get double enders of the same coin you would expect several hundreds of those types of coin in the box. This wasn't the case. Can you imagine getting 100 rolls of double enders of silver. It would be the mother load of finds. It was interesting to say the least.
Jokes on me! "LOVE THE HUNT!"

TrentC, as far as I know it's a decision made on the local level.

Worth it just for the photo.

Just got a friend into CRH yesterday. And out of just two rolls of halves, he found a '67, four Bicentennials and three NIFC. Just got a text from him a few minutes ago saying, "I'm ready for more."

It's all about spreading the love!

4 boxes

2 40%ers, a proof, and a magicians.

Since Chase won't take loose coin at the end of the month I stopped at a different bank that I hadn't been to in at least 2 months to dump and now they close at 5.

So now I am down to almost no banks or branches to dump coin at

Arby, do you have any thoughts on how something like that could happen? Since they are reverse enders, this must have been done by human as opposed to machine. This is very bizarre!

All reverse tells me that each roll was human wrapped.

I do love the hunt, I wish I could do 6 boxes a week instead of 4. lets see.

Jack, that is rough. When stuff like that happens, it gets added to your 'todo' list to fix. You are an experienced vet and can surely/hopefully find another path. Good luck!

I have 3 banks.

Associated Bank, Chase, and BMO.

BMO charges to dump coin but most branches look the other way until 1 regular dump blacklisted me and one once every 3 weeks branch blacklisted me. Then BMO changed their hours for Fridays from 6PM to 5:30 which interfered with my 4 box Friday pickup from a BMO branch. So I can only dump at one out of the other 2 branches close by the 1 Saturday a month I have off.

I dump at 5 Chase branches but 1 blacklisted me to "We have to ship your coin out to be counted" which took 7-10 days to be credited back to my account and 1 made me have to call a week in advance once a month to book an appointment when they have enough staff and 1 told me to call first but since it is way out of the way I just show up once every 2 months out of the blue. Now that they are all going "no coin" next month I am out a lot of options.

I now have a problem with Associated Bank since one branch manager accused me of stealing $100 because some teller "allegedly" gave me too much money when dumping. I had to go to another branch to straighten out a service charge because my boss can't pay me on time which led to a pop up message on my account which led to a call from the manager at the other branch asking why I ignored the letter she sent to call them "about the alleged theft" and why I didn't call and I said "because I figured it was about me dumping coin" which she was not aware of but is now. I don;t have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times I have had to correct and give money back to tellers and cashiers when dumping coin and spending halves and dollar coins at businesses. So now she blacklisted me at that branch and the branch I tried to straighten the fee out at. And one branch changed their hours to close at 5 weekdays and after the Chase problem I had planned to use their rarely visited other branches as my new dump and then just tonight I found out another location now closes at 5

I would have just closed out my account with them but there is one branch where everyone actually likes me and even says "We haven't seen you in 2 weeks and were worried" when all I do is dump there. One time while dumping there the head teller who had to change the bags on the in lobby counting machine even made sure the banker who was handing out free Brewers baseball tickets to everyone in line made sure not to miss me. Once again I would CASH OUT AND CLOSE OUT my account and tell them I am not responsible for their error if it wasn't for the one god branch.

I guess it goes both ways. You buy donuts and pizza for those that have your back and you have to agree to disagree when one of them accuses you of "stealing" from them.

PS: I called their customer service number and told them I am not authorizing a withdrawal from my account and the actions of the branch manager after she said "I am only telling you as a courtesy before we take your money". If they had actually gave me too much money I would have gladly given it back or pointed it out as not to burn a dump location.

So now CRH has goen from bad to worse

Last 8 Brinks boxes prior to this week have been silver skunks, but today I picked up 4 more Brinks boxes and things have turned around. First box I got (1) 1996 proof, (3) 2002-date NIFC, and (5) 40%, (3) 1967, (2) 1968D. Second box I got (4) 2002-date NIFC, (4) 40%, (2) 1967, (2) 1969D, one was an ender, and (1) 90%, 1964. 1.6928 oz. so far. Still have 2 more Brinks boxes to go and should get 2 Fed boxes tomorrow. Hoping my luck continues. My new dump bank is still working out great with taking the coins in already bagged. A couple weeks ago I ask them what day they got their coins picked up so I could bring them in the day before and they wouldn't be taking up vault room for long since they're a small branch. The tellers there are GREAT!! Been dumping $3000. a week there and been making a $100. deposit each time I dump to help offset their trouble.

Skibdib, those two boxes were machine rolled, I don't know how large a machine they use someone could have dropped them into the roller on purpose slowly. Just a thought. Cracked 4 boxes this morning 2 skunks, pulled 2-64D, 1-64, 1-67 and 1-68. 8-NIFC and an 1981P NO FG, now I have never seen one of these and haven't researched it as of yet. Most likely not considered a real error. Check out the pics and let me know what you think. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

When taking your coin back to the coin counters does your bank or CU Deposit the amount back into your account if you are cashing out then showing a withdraw of the amount?

Yeah that is a bummer to hear, Jack. I should be thankful that I have a branch that likes me enough to order boxes and enough branches to switch between every week.
