Just to prove that you should never give up, I stopped at 6 banks on a business trip in TX this week. No silver. I was dumping $531 of halves and pennies at one of my dump banks and I asked if they had any customer rolls or loose halves. The teller had 2 which I took. This was one of them!! My first 1970-D from circulation. Needless to say I was pretty darn excited!!

I stopped at 9 banks yesterday in a variety of towns. Of those only 3 were open. Got only $60 worth of halves, all junk. Worse, I was not really paying attention at one bank and they counted the 20 halves to me as $1 each. Unfortunately I did not notice until about an hour and 30 miles later.

Checked a bank while out on Saturday and found 2 rolls a teller had. Pealed back the top on the first one and was a 64. Slid out the rest and it turned out to be a solid roll of 64's. Second roll had 4 64's and 1 65. Made for a nice weekend.

finding a whole roll of 64s is like finding 120$ on the ground

Nod2003, I hope you were able to call them and tell them about that. Remember, their piggy banks have to balance-out at the end of their shifts.
AG, you lucky dog! I'm going to have to throw my little guy in the car and do some traveling this Saturday, we've just been getting killed on these darn boxes...

My last batch of boxes on Friday was pretty nice to me. Well one of the boxes was. 116 40's and 7 90's from one box. The other two only yeilded 4 more 40's. Picked a few up out at lunch and my silver totals for this past weekend were almost 30 troy oz with the solid roll of 90's. Got 14 more boxes on order. I am hoping this it the beginning of a run for me.

Congrats on finding that 1970D!
AGCoinHunter:
Great volume, especially on the 40%'s and real nice find on the roll of 1964's!

Todays box yielded only 2-40%. Better than most of the boxes I've been getting lately! Does anybody know who uses the white wrappers and gold writing, that come in a square box?
