Well my first 6 boxes this week were a total skunk not a single keeper. All coins between 1971 & 2001 with lots of marks on them the most common one being the letter "T" Picked up 6 more today will see what happens. Best of luck to all.

Went to the bank yesterday and there was a nice surprise, the teller told me she had an extra box so I could not turn it down, so I picked up 5 boxes, 1 skunk. Ended up with 13 pieces of silver, 3-90%ers, 1-41 Walker, 1-64D, and 1-64, 10-40%ers, 1-66, 6-67, 1-68, and 2-69's. 1-Counterstamped, 5-NIFC, and 2-Foreign coins, One I have pulled before and the 2007 I have never seen before. Have to look it up. All in all not a bad week. Enjoy the pics. "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Another bad week. 2 boxes had 1 keeper an impaired '92 proof. Not even a 2002-date NIFC out of 2 boxes. Starting next week I'm back on track to start getting my 6 boxes a week again. I didn't get things worked out with the previous dump bank, but the head teller at my home bank, and the bank that gets me 4 of my boxes and has been getting coins for me since last November said she'd be glad to take my dumps to help me out. I ask her about giving me bags and letting me return them already bagged. I think she liked the idea since it would keep her from having to feed them to the coin counter, but said she wasn't allowed to do that. Buying at and returning to the same branch might not be ideal circumstances, but at least I'll be able to get and dump coins. I'm thinking about opening a CD account at another bank, but before doing so I'm going to see if they will order/allow dumping halves.

RCook, Good luck with your new dump bank! Last I looked through halves I re rolled them and when I went to deposit them at a bank I'd never been to before, the teller told me they'd much prefer them loose in a bucket or bag...odd how each bank differs.

Great finds everyone.
I wasn't able to get the boxes this week. I've been working OT and getting off after the Bank closes. My Wife will pick them up on Monday. Looks like I have no excuse to get to some of the things on the "honeydo" list this weekend.
I spent another $50 in Halves this week. I spent about $20 at the Hardware Store and the lady behind me said "I have some of those in a coffee can at home". I explained to her how to separate the silver from the clad and told her to take them to the Local Coin Store and cash them in.
Good luck to all this weekend.

Hey Artmart go back and look at some of the pictures of intact rolls that show both rims of silver and clad coins. The white metal rims are silver. You can also look at the years of the coins. Any coin 1964 and earlier are 90% Silver and coins from 1965 through 1970 are 40% Silver. Don't worry once you spot them you will will very rarely miss them again. Good Luck "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Thanks for the good luck wishes with the dump bank. I think this one will work out long term. I've known this head teller for several years, she used to work at another bank I did business with, but she changed companies a few years ago. Her aunt used to be married to my brother. Ever since I started getting coins from her she's always been very friendly and helpful even though my hobby puts extra work on her and her employees. There have been times when she'd forget to order coins, but when she does she's willing to make up for it by ordering extra boxes the next week.
