5 boxes today. I had hoped that they would have doubled up my order for today but they didn't. I couldn't pick up my 4 boxes last Friday because some customer decided to come in 5 minutes before close and then waste 30 minutes of my time even after I had turned off half the lights in the showroom before I approached him to give him a hint that we were closing. I told my boss I am coming in late Monday because I am going to get my halves I was cheated out of on Friday and of course Monday was a Hallmark holiday Chase was open Monday when I went there do dump. Associated Bank was open on Monday when I went there to dump. BMO was closed when I tried to get my halves 6 40%ers, a 1964, and a couple of NIFC.

At first I had good thoughts about my half dollar CRH today. Then I looked at the halves and got a chuckle. They were mostly bicentennial halves with the edges painted silver.

Garoyn Several years ago I use to see many halves with the edges painted silver. But anymore I rarely see one.

I haven't been on for a few days. Letting my back rest. Nice finds everyone. Arby, that's a great haul. Welcome back Trapper. 2 boxes this week. No Silver but I did find a 74-D DDO that is in great shape. I may try to get 2 boxes today. Good luck to everyone.

Trapper, very nice score on the CWR hunt, When I picked up my boxes on Friday the teller told me someone came in and sold her 2 roll that contained silver and she thought she would hold them for me but the customer behind saw the rolls and asked for them. The teller told me she wasn't going to tell me but since I had a good week it wouldn't hurt so much. It sure is nice to score those CWR's. Great Pics. OC you are bad, can you imagine how many bad words have been said when someone finds those. "LOVE THE HUNT!"
"LOVE THE HUNT!"

did a box yesterday. got a 2010 and 2004 naif, and a 1981 and 85 proof. is there anyway to remove the haze from the proofs? I don't want to rub them with a cloth, but will acetone help?

One is better than none! One 1967 40%er! Better than a skunk box I say!

I agree. Always fun to find something, if only one thing.
