yeh it does... but I did just find a small pearl in the mussels I made for dinner! I spit it out after biting it. Come to find out, there was a "mussel rush" where some species were hunted nearly to extinction for the pearls. Ya learn something new every day. I put it in a 2x2.

Sorry about your skunks Skibdib, not sure how I feel about the pearl thing! Busted 4 boxes today and the first box had a beautiful lady looking up at me, ended with 2 enders in that box. I had 2 skunks and still did very well, Love it when you pull more 90%ers than 40%ers out of boxes. I ended up with 8-90%ers and 5-40%ers, here are the dates, 1-41, 2-43, 1-43S. 1-52, 1-52D, 1-58D, 1-64, 1-65, 1-67, and 3-68, also rescued 4-clad proofs, 1-81S, 1-87S, 2-76S. It was a very good day. Wishing you all the best of luck and many blessings. Always remember "LOVE THE HUNT!" Love seeing this when you open a box! Yea! 2 Enders in one box!!

Got 4 boxes today....first 3 were skunks for silver....but the 4th had 1 1964, 1 1965, and 2 1969d. On top of 12 NIFC including a nice 87D. Was considering taking a break if I didn't get any silver today.,,..looks like 4 more boxes for next week after my skunk streak ended at 11 boxes

5 boxes this week all skunked only found a 1981S proof. But I got another nice score on CWR'S, I got two rolls from the same teller that gave me 3 CWR'S last week with 30,40% & 4,90% he told me last week he did not have any more. When he gave me 2 rolls today I asked do you have any more he said no. I know he is holding out on me. I'm going to send my wife in and see if she can get some. Found 14,40% and 2 Bennie's in the 2 rolls

sweet pile of silver there trapper! keep extracting :-) I did 2 today, first box had a bender, it turned out to be my first s mint franklin, a 1954s. Also a 64, and 40%er. box 2 was a skunk. i was glad to be on the board with something today, especially a hole filling franklin for my hunted collection. ***update! I found a strange 'token' in this box. Turns out that its a silver token, weighs 12.8 grams, and they made 125 to 150 of them. Its a Summit Aviation 31mm Silver Medal! Here is some info I found on the internet, 3/4 down the page, also pasted below. http://www.gmmnut.com/gmm/gmm17.html What I don't know about Summit Aviation they could write books about (and probably have.) The one interesting thing I can tell you is that, while I was visiting with Ron Landis, he mentioned that he had gotten a telephone call (sometime in early October 2000 I believe.) The person making the call was asking about this Summit Aviation medal. They had found it in a Caribbean hotel and wondered what it was. I assume they tracked down Ron through the Gallery Mint Museum paper insert in the flip the medal was distributed in. After a bit of discussion it was determined that the motel was located near an airport and Ron assumed that one of Caroline's pilots had left it there. Not a terribly exciting story but a bit of local color as it were. Anyway... something else to watch for to add to your GMM/Landis collection. Your GMM ScrapBook is great. My late husband Richard C. duPont, Jr. started Summit Aviation 41 years ago. Last year on our 40th Anniversary, I thought it would be appropriate to have enough (125-150) silver coins minted for Summit's loyal, hard working employees, customers, Board of Directors, family and special friends. At the same time there were four gold coins minted for the C.O.B., the President and two of the stockholders. Even though there are a few silver coins left they are not for sale.
