My box #6 had one 40%, plus a few more proofs and NIFC. One was a 2008 with a "Deck The Halls" sticker...waste of an otherwise perfect NIFC coin. Will a long acetone bath get it all off or is it a lost cause?
The past two weeks have been horrible for halves!

19 more boxes this week most of them skunks I found 4,90% 3 Kennedy and 1, 1951 Benny and 26,40% I'm going to slow down next week this is taking up to much of my time and with the weather warming up there is to much to do around the house. Best of luck to all   |

trapper, nice haul of silver, 19 boxes is a ton. I am settling around 12 a week, I don't think I could do anymore, and I'm not sure if I can keep it up either.
but, I did pretty good to end the week.
box 1: 1 x 40%
box 2: 4 x 90% (1951, 1961, 62, 62, 3 in one roll) 7 x 40% (the 7 40%ers were in one roll too)
box 3: skunk
box 4: 2 x 64, 5 x 40%
I have not seen these stamp #s in a while, these are the box #s that gave me a nice first week of the year. I hope to get more like these in the future. total was 6 x 90%, 13 x 40%.

Trapper don't blame you for slowing down weather getting perfect for metal detecting.
I have to keep it up though or my banks may cut me off.

I'm about ten minutes from Disneyland .... Gone through 34 boxes the last two weeks all skunks ....have one left I'm praying over....just kidding....about the praying.... Glad to hear most everybody is finding silver...I had been letting the NIFC coins go back into circulation while finding silver... But as my streak gets longer I have started to pull NIFC out .... Makes me feel like I am getting something for my time...love the hunt...keep on hunting and astacking....

Picked up 4 rolls at a local bank I visit (almost) weekly. All skunks, but the tellers had big smiles on their faces when they saw me come in. They were so excited to sell me some halves. And I don't even have an account there.

Calfrope, I know how you feel with regard to keep in NIFC in order to feel like you're getting something for your effort...this hobby becomes a job if we take it too seriously!
