4 boxes from my regular Friday pickup. 1 40%er and a proof. I stopped at my in case of emergency bank as they usually have a box but they only had $440. I took it and there was a 1964 ender. Ended up with 2 1964's and a 40%er.

Last night I finished up my boxes from last week. Was starting to think I was going to be skunked on all 6 boxes, but the last box saved the week with 3/40%. Still haven't had a skunk week in 2016. 2016 year to date silver 53.1502 oz.

I ordered my first box last week and it arrived yesterday. I started searching through the rolls with great anticipation. All the rolls were loomis wrapped. Except for 3 NIFC and a few au clads I needed for my Dansco, I got skunked. I see that some of us who search through far many more boxes than I do also run into this, so I will order another box next week. We shall see what happens. I am curious though, do you folks get more silver from customer wrapped, or loomis/brinks wrapped rolls? My experience is that customer wrapped rolls yield better results. thanks, YB

Yakima, if you can find CWRs at banks in your area, then I'm confident they'll produce more keepers than boxes on a per $500 searched basis.

2 boxes yesterday.
1 proof, a couple of NIFC, otherwise skunked again.
I find 3 toners and I don;t think the are the normal ED type ones. One has bullseye rainbow toning on he reverse and even golden toning on the obverse.

nice job everyone, its always nice finding stuff. Jack, are the dump bank issues resolved? seems like you might be doing some more boxes, not sure though.
yakima, keep trying, you never know. I have not had any luck with CWR, mostly because I cant find them. you need to do a decent sample of boxes to get an idea. Definitely keep trying and see what you can find. Once you find something, then you'll be hooked :-D
8 boxes for this week, for 8 40%, and 1 1964, which was of course an ender. 6 skunk boxes. nice to add to the stack. waiting for a breakthrough week.

Yaki, if you can afford to buy more than one box a week do so if the bank will order them for you and you can arrange a dump bank. I'm doing 6 boxes a week, last week 5 of the 6 were skunks. Also if you're getting more than one box and you hit a large silver vein it's likely to carry over into more than one box. It's all a numbers game, the more you search the better your chances of striking silver. If you can find customer wrapped rolls or loose coins at a bank your success rate will probably be better than in company wrapped rolls. Since I've started searching rolls I've probably got less than 2 rolls of loose halves, but have found a 90% Franklin in those. Last week out of 300 rolls of company rolled halves I got 3 40%. Since I started roll searching about 1.5 years ago I've had 3 boxes that contained 20-30 oz of silver each and each time I think the silver has carried over into more than just one box. Those 20-30 oz boxes don't happen often, but they sure are nice when they do show up! All 3 of mine were near the Christmas holidays, 1 I think in Jan. 2015, 1 I think in Dec. 2015, and the other I think in Jan. 2016. If you can't afford to buy more than 1 box all year especially try to get more around the Christmas holidays, apparently some people cash in collections for holiday gift money. I picked up 4 boxes yesterday and need to pick up 2 more either today or tomorrow.
