A couple NIFC, one 1964 ender but one box #2 was a skunk except 2x NIFC.

Still think that despite the 90% that the Dallas area is saturated with CRH. Had quite of few differently marked coins. Disappointing. Can't complain about the 90%JFK though!

Yes, I believe this to be the case with the modern proofs I have been finding.

Thanks all, that is my second Booker T Comm, the first one was a 51 Booker/Carver. I was a bit surprised they minted these commemorative coins for so many years. I am not much into Commemorative coins but they are nice to find. I always thought they were printed for a year or two and that was it. I really need to read more.lol

Layercake, I feel your pain. My last 12 boxes were skunks.

Arby, grats on the BTW! I paid $12 for mine.

Trapper , you are a very consistent searcher. I'm impressed!

Skib, same to you!

Pulled 1-46 Booker T Washington Commemorative

I found on of those probably about a year ago, it was my first silver commemorative find.

I got the other 20 rolls from my bank and found 2 40%, 2 nifc, & a 1982-S clad proof. Better than nothing!

Great for only 20 rolls.

Congrats.

The only silver commem I have ever found was a 1982 George Washington.

I am still on the hunt for a classic silver commem in a roll and a 1971 / 1977 40%er and I think if I found those I would finally be content and could retire from roll hunting as I have slowly began to accept the lower volume hunt (and subsequently rewards) since Chase took out their coin counters last July.

Bad news, good news.

Bad news... The bank where I got my boxes of halves told me they could not order them for me anymore
They told me they will order one box every couple of months if I want.

Good news... From the 2 boxes I managed to get today, I found my oldest half dollar in a roll

Results:

1952 D (hole filler)
1954 D
1968 D x3

Now I will say goodbye to this thread for a while

Sorry to hear the news. I know one day my bank will tell me the same thing. Not all good things last forever.

4 CWR at the bank today.

Nothing to report. Not one NIFC. Not even one marked with a magic marker.

They had $360 worth of halves there, and maybe I'll pass on the remainder as that I have a feeling it's a dump.

Trust me, it is a blessing in disguise.

For a few years I did $10K in halves and $400 in nickels and $100 in cents week.

I had to drive all over town 5 days a week dumping and picking up boxes.

Slowly I lost dump banks (getting coin has never been a problem) so I had to scale back to $8K a week.

Then my main half hookup bank said they were only ordering once a week instead of twice a week so that affected my rotation and amounts per week and then Chase got rid of their coin counters which pretty much ruined it around here (dump wise and roll find wise) as the in bank lobby coin counters would take silver while the lobby machines at other brand banks and Coinstars kick out silver.

Anywho I know there is another Monster box out there waiting for me and the smaller bank roll needed since it is no longer a day to day float to cover the next days pickup there is less stress (and unfortunately less reward)

Found 35 clad proof in one box yesterday. They were all from 1993-1998. Back to the bank they go!

Currently on a 12 box skunk streak.
