JFK Half Dollar Roll Hunters: Silver, Proofs And Other Finds

I picked up some rolls of different coins today pennies, dimes and nickels at a branch of the bank I have accounts with that I have never been to out of town (cow town, boon docks) hoping for a collection dump since very few businesses around got alot of real old wrappers, also asked if they had halves and she had $50 so I bought them all, well the wrappers were older than the coins inside but ended up with a real nice shiny 1966 40% it wasn't was I was hoping for but I will take it! The nickels weren't bad either. Will post nickel result in nickel thread!

Picked up 2 boxes this morning, opened 40 rolls so far, no silver. Did get 1 2004S, 1982 P no FG, my first and 2 more for the book. With 60 more to look at there is still a chance for silver. Webekin

the week has started nicely.... 4 boxes, last 2 were skunks.

Box 1 had a 1964, and box 2 had 1 63 bennie, and 7 x 40%.

So 4 boxes, 9 pieces. Ill take that any day.

As for me, I went to my secondary bank to get some Dimes, Nickels and Cents... But they only had a roll of nickels and 15 rolls of pennies that weren't brand new 2016-D LOOMIS coins. So I told the teller I would take some Quarters as well. She then told me she had some half dollars, knowing that I liked them. She had 5, I took all of them and noticed one looked funny.

Thanks, Skibdib! I was so disappointed when there was only 1 roll of nickels... and then I was so happy when I saw what she had! That's the 2nd time a tray/loose halves have yielded me a 1964 coin.

A 1966 half that the teller sold to me for face while I was dumping some coin at the bank and a 68 d today out of 4 rolls that I got from a wells fargo hand wrapped to end something like a 280 roll bad streak. Funny thing is, I'm on vacation in Arizona!
