Coin rumbles - I do the armored carrier invoicing for the bank I work for and it all depends on the contract the bank has with the carrier. I can't mention what bank but I will say that it comes out to about 3 cents per roll, which amazes me when some banks say they will charge what they want for a box. Even funnier is that the individual branches don't pay the fees for armored carrier services. So where does this money go for the customers that are charged? Most coin customers are commercial customers , in which the fee is included in a monthly analysis type fee.

I've been putting together books for my grandchildren but these two finds last night will be going into Grammy's book.

I've also been told the same ($0.15/roll) for depositing a large volume ($500) of ROLLED halves at another bank.

When one of my banks tells me this I'll politely tell them to close out my accounts and that I'll take my business to someone who appreciates it.

Is the 1992 proof also a silver proof? Looks like it in the pictures. Those would sure fit nicely in my collection of proofs from circulation.

4 more boxes today, 3 skunks, the first box gave up 2 x 40% and a 63-d bennie with a nice dark edge that I drooled over for a moment while I wondered what it was.

Got 3 halves from a teller tray today, including a 2004-P.

Almost as good as the last box I did!

A question for the group-- Any insight to the following would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone CRH at Michigan's Upper Peninsula? I was there on vacation a few weeks back. While there, I found lots of halves at a number of small banks there, but was limited by time in what I could process. My sample of $400 obtained from Macinac Island yielded a skunk. But in calling around to other banks, some of them in the Upper Peninsula proper seem to have large reserves of their own (up to $1K each) that they roll themselves and sell to non-customers; they don't order anything from the Fed. There are local Native American tribe casinos located near the banks that use halves themselves, and I initially attributed the bank half dollar reserves to that. But I can't know for sure.

Has anyone scored in Michigan's Upper Peninsula? What results have anyone had there? I'm curious to see if I missed out on some potential.

Another good 4 boxes no skunks
6 enders (4) I scanned (2) I found later on when opening the rolls.
I'm at 225 troy ounces now for the year
1079,40%
182,90%

Box:1, 16,40%
1,90%, 1963d
Box:2, 6,40%
2,90%, 1963d,1964
Box:3 12,40%,
2,90%, 1964,1964d
Box:4 33,40%
2,90%, 1943s,1952d
I'm sure these are from the same dump I have been finding the last few weeks.
I know I have been extremely lucky this year. How long it will last? forever I hope.
Best of luck to everyone

Congrats on everyone's finds, especially that 1906 Barber. Love the 40% silver proof. And of course, 90% is always good, especially Walkers and Franklins.

Trapper another awesome score. Hope that silver vein is long and wide. I have had very little luck with those Gold and white wrappers since loomis started using them. Still mining away trying to hit a good vein as well. Hope next week is better. Congrats on a nice score.

Nice score trapper.

4 boxes from Friday.

Box 1 had an ender. The roll had a 1964 and a 40%er. The rest of the box was a skunk.

Box 2 and 3 were skunks.

Box 4 had 1 40%er.

I hit up my emergency bank on Saturday and got a box. 1 40%er.

There were also a few NIFC and a magicians in the boxes.
