Makes my 3 proofs in 33 rolls seem like peanuts.
Those are still better than peanuts!

Can't wait to pick up my four boxes tomorrow afternoon.. hope the luck continues

Congratulations jmbpga22 On the excellent finds and especially that 1865 seated half.. what a nice surprise that must of been

Picked up 8 boxes today and was going through my first box and so far have found 1 Franklin a 1951, 3 64's, 5 40 %, and a 1933 5 franc, but the real jewel is by far my oldest ever is a 1865 s seated half! My first one ever. And I still have 9 rolls left in the box with 4 enders. Hopefully there will be more. See pics for the seated half.

Congrats to you as well arby.. 5 is better than nothing :-) ... keep on stacking!

Nice proofs John77... Hope silver comes your way on your next set of boxes.

Just finished up 10 boxes today, 1-66, that one 66 kept away me getting skunked for a whole week, taking the next week off sure hope the week after next is not the week I get skunked, still seeing a bunch of coins I have marked, from Aug, and Sept. I also rescued a 88S Clad proof.
The worst part of the day was one of my boxes was 3 rolls short so that was a slap in the face. Wishing you all the best of luck, hope silver finds its way into all your boxes. Looking forward to seeing all the posts of great finds.

Another week that got me more than my 1 oz. weekly goal. 6 boxes turned up 11 pieces of silver, all 40%. Also got a 1982P no FG and a 1981S clad proof. 2016 year to date silver 147.8405 troy oz. Arby way to go on pulling that one piece of silver and preventing a skunk week. I know we all like to pull more than that, but there have been several weeks this year that 1 piece of silver kept me smelling sweet for the week. This year has been a much better year than 2015 for me. In 2015 I think I had 2 or 3 double digit skunk streaks. Good luck to everyone in the coming week.

2 boxes from Tuesday.

1 40%er, 1 proof, a couple of NIFC, and a trashed 1974D DDO.

No halves tomorrow as all of the banks are closed.

I'm visiting a city where my best 4 boxes came from about 1 year ago. I picked up 4 boxes today. 2 of them are old and beat up (the end of an old, dusty pallet of boxes?) including a piece of duct tape on one of them. I expect these 2 to contain NF String wraps and be better than the other 2 boxes with regard to silver finds.

The other 2 boxes look like new Loomis boxes, so I'm assuming they contain Loomis wraps...I've no idea whether or not they'll contain anything decent.

I'm going to slowly (over a couple weeks or so) open these boxes and savor them because it's rare for me to get boxes in this area. I'll report when I'm done.

Happy hunting everyone!

This is a "mass update" of a few weeks' worth of boxes. I only order 1 at a time because of the difficulties I have in getting rid of them afterwards. Banks are closing left and right in my town, and 99% of those that remain have instituted highly unreasonable ways to maintain a checking account free of fees. Because of this situation, I currently have just 1 bank branch I can use to drop off half dollar boxes.

Box 1: An interesting box, to say the least- but not in a good way! Exactly half the box was composed of carefully re-wrapped Loomis rolls. There were also an extremely high number of marked half dollars mixed in with everything. Needless to say, the box was almost a total bust; the only remotely interesting things I found were 5 NIFC half dollars.

Box 2: An even worse one than the first box... there were quite a few marked half dollars again, and I only found 3 NIFC half dollars by the end.

Box 3: Finally, some silver! I came across fewer marked half dollars than in the past two boxes, so this box itself seemed "marked" for somewhat better finds. The totals for this one were 2 40% silver half dollars and 7 NIFC half dollars. The 2008-P was a hole filler in my folder, while the better of the two 2011-D pieces was a vast upgrade to a preexisting coin, so I was quite satisfied with the overall results.

Ear, I'm glad Box 3 was better for you. Good luck with your bank situation. I can relate and I don't like it.
