Box 1: An interesting box, to say the least- but not in a good way! Exactly half the box was composed of carefully re-wrapped Loomis rolls. There were also an extremely high number of marked half dollars mixed in with everything. Needless to say, the box was almost a total bust; the only remotely interesting things I found were 5 NIFC half dollars.

I got a box like that once.

Another time I got a sealed box of rewrapped rolls and one roll HAD MY NAME AND ADDRESS ON IT

It turns out that the rolls came from Home Depot where I had been paying off my $8,000 / 12 months 0% interest purchase off and had been bringing them rewrapped rolls of halves every other week after I went through them. I guess what every armored car service they use for their deposits just took the rolls for granted at face and reboxed them. After getting that box they got $500 in loose halves from then on.

Been organizing tonight... was going through my proof halves I've found, and filling some holes in my Dansco... Upon closer inspection, it turned out one of my 1979-S finds was the much rarer Type II!

Bank called last Thursday while we were in the pool for therapy. It was late but they unlocked for me to retrieve them. First time I ordered 2 boxes, first box had a foreign coin on an ender. Only decent find in the box, Republique De Djibouti 1991, 100F. Last box had a nice 1965 plain, only silver in the whole box. I did save a roll of better 1976 Cent. for the future. Ordered 2 more boxes at there leisure. Webekin

Seven boxes this week were all skunks.
I did find 5 Panamanian 50 cent pieces
but I do not keep them, must have been someones dump.
Hopefully better luck next week.

Nice finds, Webekin!

I would have kept the Panama coins, trapper, but understand if you do not collect them or already had plenty.

Glad to see you all still finding stuff out in the wild.

I myself didn't have much luck with last weeks 4 boxes.. Finds were a mere 2x 40% 1966 & 1968D and also 15x 2015 NIFC... Got 6 boxes coming tmrw or friday.. hopefully they produce a little bit more than last weeks boxes.. Good luck to you all on your hunts.. Will get some pics up when I get a chance of the 2 40% lol

2 boxes from yesterday. Chase uses Loomis and 99% or the time I get Loomis boxes. Yesterday I got 1 Loomis box and 1 S & S box like I get from BMO Harris who uses Garda on Fridays. The S & S box had the same 6525 stamp as the ones I have been getting lately. Hopefully the 8 boxes I pick up on Friday are as good as this one was.

Box 1 S & S: 5 40%ers, a 1964, a gold plated, a proof, and a stack of NIFC. Also got shorted with a quarter in 1 roll.

Box 2: 1 40%er, a proof, and a couple of NIFC.

A nice little mix. I guess the gold plating makes up for the quarter.

I have to agree and am always happy to see any silver, no matter if its 1 or 50 in a box still puts a smile on my face.

Congrats on the silver finds jack.

Box 1 of 4, which was the newest looking cardboard box containing Loomis wraps, yielded a '65 and a '66, as well as a clad 2007 proof. There were marks on coins from 6 different searchers.

I'm pleasantly surprised to have found any silver in the box.

Hopefully I'll have time to get through another box later this week...Next box (2 of 4) will be the other newer looking cardboard box containing Loomis wraps.
