The Canadian half is an excellent find, although it can't be a 1906 since coins of George V were only struck from 1911-1936. It's a shame their dates wear off so quickly.

Numisma- thanks for clarifying. At first, I wasn't sure exactly what it was , but knew it was silver. That date is very hard to see, maybe a 1916? I'll have to break out the magnifying glass again to give it a closer look.

well, January is staying hot over here! I did 4 boxes yesterday, and 3 of them had the same stamp # as the box that produced the 10 bens last friday. When I opened the first box, which I saved for last, I saw 3 Franklin enders on top, and a 1967. When I flipped them to look for more enders, I realized that one of the Benders and the 67 ender were actually both double ender rolls. The 1967 had a Bender on the other side, and the bender had a 1964 on the other side. box 1: skunk box 2: 1 x ben, 10 x 40% box 3: 4 x 40% box 4: 29 x Bens, 2 x 1964, 6 x 40% Will this incredible January continue? This is what I saw opening the first box. Also, the side views are followed up by pics of the coins that were in the rolls. Good luck to all! May the January shiny stuff keep flowing!

Skibdib Wow! again what an awesome start to the New Year! I can't say I'm having that kind of luck, though I am having luck with finding silver, This week so, I cracked 8 boxes today, 6 skunks and ended up with 8 pieces of silver and one JFK sticker Coin. I pulled 1-65, 1-66, 3-68, and 3-69's. My pictures are not as impressive. LOL Bermtown To CCF and Congrats on your first score of silver, this hobby has a lot of peaks and valleys, Wish you the best of luck.

Skibdib oh the feeling of those megarolls, you have a few yourself this year. I love to see that others are scoring silver, it only means more out there I will come across. I hope that silver vein continues to produce for you. It feels so good when one open a box and see multiple enders specialty 90%ers. Good Luck everyone.

WOW, skibdib! That's awesome! I see a couple of 1949s in there... a tougher-to-find year.
My first box of halves of 2017 is supposed to be in tomorrow... Hoping to find some AG and some NIFCs...
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

yes, there were 2 x 1949 in there. The 2nd and 3rd that I have found. I was hoping for a mintmark, as a D or S would be a hole filler. But not this time.
However, the 1953s was a hole filler for me. That was great!
