I just read an email I received from PCGS about grading laminations, and they informed me that my lamination is called a Clamshell Lamination, it goes on to state its among one of the most impressive types of lamiations. That is really cool. Have a great long weekend everyone.

Arby, I have a '67 with a more minor version of the clamshell lamination error. Thanks for sharing this information!

Yesterday my son and I went to get our regular request of nickels, and we asked if there were any halves. They had only five coins, but three of them were silver, including our first impaired proof in the wild (1970-S)!

I search 2 boxes a week for over a year, and I've never seen a 1970S, I'm so happy for you nickel hunters. Still living the dream! Webekin
