Two boxes this week. Some disappointment, since I reported the Small dollar roll found in my sealed Half dollar box, the bank employee is opening every box and checking for errors. The first box today was open and in the bottom row was a customer/bank wrapped roll, so I suppose someone checked my box found an ender and swapped out for there self. Roll 4 had a nice 1964D, box 2 had a 1981S, also found 2 error coins 1976 missing letters in the "INDEPENDENCE HALL". Have some missing the "a" in HALL and others missing the "e" in INDEPENDENCE. Living the dream, Webekin.

Web, I've a few similar error bicentennial halves,. I kept them, but I'm not certain they have value over 50 cents. Any idea?

Picked up 2 Loomis boxes Friday. The other teller says I have $13.50 in halves do you want them? Of course I say yes Thank You. I'll come back to this part later. 2 boxes produced 1 90%, 4 40% and 4 Proofs. Not a bad day. Look at the 3.50 loose and see 4 40% halves. Then check the $10 roll and it contained another 8 40% halves.

Doubled up on boxes this week because I have a few days off...hopefully the silver will 'roll' in....

Happy hunting

Went hunting today without finding much. the 1st 2 hours I found 1 clad half dollar. 15-20 minutes into hour 3 I found 2 more halves, but they were both 40%'s. After driving around for 5+ hours I found a grand total of $18.00 in halves ($14.50 from the last 2 banks). Luckily my last stop had 1 roll of halves as it had 4-40%'s. My addiction has netted me another 1966, 2-1967's, 2-1968's, & a 1969 for my stack. I think I'm going out tomorrow as well. Will LYK how I do.

I got back into searching halves the past few weeks since it is getting closer to the holidays and people start dumping coin for presents. Last 3 weeks found 5 pieces or more per week. Week 1 had 1 90% and 6 40%. Week 2 the same result. Last week 1 90% and 4 40%. Will be getting another 2 boxes today. Hopefully the semi decent streak will continue.

ty JBuck...went out hunting again today. Found $389.00 in halves, but only pulled 1-40% out of the bunch...looks like my beginners luck is starting to fade a bit. Going to try and go out again tomorrow if I can make the time.
