I may not be dumping far enough away but if I start spending $10 in gas to get to a dump bank I would rather put the $10 into a 90% silver half and 90% silver quarter. ALTHOUGH then you lose the thrill of the chase.

Update on my second box of halves. Found 3 40% 67 67 68 found 2 NIFC a 2002P I needed for the collection and a 2003D that I put back with the dumps as I have one already. I also found a 1971 Cameo Proof, the cameo is fairly rare as they weren't purposely made that way in 1971, it means it is an early strike. Unfortunately it is imparied meaning it has scratches and marks and rubs but it is still neat

That's an insane amount of halves Arby but I guess if you're just looking for the silver, that's not too bad. I'm still searching specifically for the no FG coins and if I run across a silver, that's a bonus. I'm guessing I did 15-20 boxes in 2017 and found three silver. I picked up some single rolls at times at the bank and had much better luck finding silvers that way. Good luck in 2018!

Shotgung, I look for both Silver and No FG's. Been back into CRHing for about 6 weeks now, have 3 no FG 1983's and 9 90% and 75 40% and did about 6 boxes, that gave me 3 90% and 40 40% the rest were from a 5 roll stash at one bank.

WOW, Arby96! You searched 588,820 halves in 2017... In other words, almost 550,000 more than me. I searched a comparatively meager 39,309 halves (38 boxes and 1309 assorted ones in rolls and/or teller trays). Here are my results:
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
