Went to the bank to pick up a box of pennies. Asked about halves and the guy handed me 5. Two were 1964 and one was 1967. Cant complain about that!

jack_jeckel, I think I would call those GREAT boxes!
Nice finds, shotgung and Silver_Eagle! Not often you see a 1970-dated half show up in the wild.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Called my bank today, have'nt had a box in 4 weeks. No problem they say, just not ordered anything recently, and my the way we have some wheat pennies we are saving for you. great I say I will take them. Grandsons birthday is in march so need to get him a penny book to fill. I have a box of 10 rolls Wheat backs that he can have to start with plus the one from the bank. Living the dream, Webekin!

WOW! Can't complain today. Go to turn in my dollars and picked up a box of nickels and asked if they had any halves. She said she had about 10. I looked through those and nothing I wanted and the other teller said, "wait, I have three roles". I said I'll take them. Got home and opened peaked in each end. See attached picture. Final count: 1963 x 1 1964 x 5 1966 x 4 1967 x 17 1968 x 4 Happy Saturday to ME

Awesome finds Kehinnc, Shotgun, & Silver Eagle. My last 4 boxes only had 1 silver in each. I finally did get my 2 boxes from Bank of America and opened the 1st box to another 1st for me...my 1st silver skunk. I did get 5 NIFC's though. They are 2002 D, 2012 P, 2014 D, & 2-2014 P. I will open the 2nd box tonight/tomorrow and will LYK how I do. Happy Hunting everyone.

ImTBM Your first silver skunk, how many boxes have you gone through so far? I am always interested in skunk streaks. My longest so far (and I hate to jinx myself) is 5 boxes with no silver before finding a single 40%

I'm new Ben. These are boxes 7 + 8. !st box was a monster with 25 silver coins and box 2 had 11 more. Just over 12 troy ozt of silver combined. My next 4 boxes each had 1 silver coin (2-40% 2-90%). #7 was my skunk. I have gone through the 1st 20 rolls of box 8 with no silver yet, but there was a 1986 Liberty Commemorative (another 1st for me). I will post how I did once I finish going through the case. Happy Hunting everyone.

I do have a question. I have put aside over $1000 face value of coins to go through for variety's. They are mostly 1971D, 1972, 1973D, & 1974D with some 1977D's. Not sure where to go to get good images of the variety's. I need to start going through these as I cant keep them much longer (never mind adding $100. face with every new case). I got 2 more cases coming on Wednesday. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
