Thought I'd stop in, say hi and check out my favorite thread. Glad to see everyone is still finding silver. I sure miss this hobby but my main bank got orders from corporate to quit ordering my halves and they charge a 3% fee to customers for use of the coin machine for amounts over $25. I still have one bank that is willing to order for me but I can't find a dump bank. Maybe one day things will work out so I can get back into the hobby. Good luck everyone!

My last box skunked. It was from the same bank that I got my best box containing 17 silvers.

Went to the bank for business and asked if they had any halves. They only had 3 and this was one of them. 1981-S. Pretty nice coin. Other two were nothing special.

got two boxes today, first box 2 NIFC and 4 90% Kennedy's and 5 40%. gone through 15 rolls in 2nd box so far no silver yet but 10 NIFC Another forum gave me a hard time for posting pictures of my finds especially my two monster boxes this year with 36 90% and 64 40%ers as they say it will cause more people to try CRHing. I think what keeps people away is tying up $500 per box and all the skunks. here is my 1st box

I think what keeps people away is tying up $500 per box and all the skunks. This would be very true. Many people live paycheck-to-paycheck, so having $500 or more tied up for any length of time can be difficult. Whereas $200 or so is usually much more manageable for most.

Arby96 I feel your pain! I went 0fer Feb and started this month with 2 more skunks. That makes 10 boxes of no silver, proofs or nifc's. Last year it was just like this during feb and march. I think next year I'm sitting these months out. John77, I agree. We are lucky to have the spare cash to mess around with. The nice thing about it is when we "loose" some of it we made money by pickin some silver. Gotta love those 7 dollar halves! Have a good weekend all.
