Visited 3 local banks. One had none; One had over $1,000 (I only bought $50), and one had $21 (I bought it all). The batch of $50 had a 1968D.

Well it was not a good ending to this week, Last 4 boxes for this week all skunks, The only thing that was good was that I found 2 more 40%ers while I was dumping that I had missed while searching, That is the chance one takes when only edge checking coins, These two silver pieces 1-65 and 1-66 edges were a bit more warn so they showed more copper then normal. So that leaves me with 22 for the week. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thank you for all the well wishers out there. Blessings to you all!

Similar story Arby while dumping some coins did manage 2 40%. However this was my worst week ever hunting. Most banks had no halves and the few that did almost everyone asked if I had an account. I don't have accounts at every bank. Went into one of my usual stops teller says she has nothing other teller saye I have few nothing good. The other teller chimes in I pulled these out for myself are they any good ? One was an AU/BU Benny the other was a BU JFK don't remember if it was 40% or 90%. I knew she was't letting me buy them. I told her they were silver and she should hang on to them. Very Very tough week.  |

I'm having the same problem.. no banks had any halves.. there's a lot of competition around here. I went to several banks today almost everyone said someone had got all of they had two said someone had been in this morning. I have four boxes ordered from my bank, they'll be in Mon/Tue. I got a box of nickels today to search. HH

Three tellers at the counter had no halves and no rolls in the safe! The drive_up window had $3.00 in halves and ask if I wanted a single Ike! Yes says I! Webekin

The first of 4 boxes is my best box yet. 12 silvers.. 1-90% & 11-40%. No proofs but I ended up with 6 NIFC's  |

Thanks cabowabo.. my second box didn't come close to box 1.. I did get a 40%, 2 proof and 6 nifc's I have two more boxes to go through tomorrow.. can't wait to see what they may hold.  |

My first 4 boxes for the week,  NO SKUNKS I also pulled 12 pieces of silver, 1-90%er 64D and 11-40%ers 1-65, 1-66, 2-67, 3-68, and 4-69. Also 1-NIFC 11D, and a GEM 87P.
