Skunked on first 2 boxes of the week, but silver in the next 2:

Two boxes this week, first box, only had missing letters in the Independence Hall.
Second box had, 1987S, not perfect but nice, 1982 no FG, and a very pristine 1991 P.
And last after 41 rolls in the second box a lone 1967.
One of these days I will offer for sale the 1976 halves with missing letters and stars.

I hadn't had the chance to stop by my local banks for a while, but I was on the road to visit relatives and was passing through a town with local branches of two my hometown banks. First bank had only one half, but I could see it was silver when the teller first pulled it out of the try and set it on her counter. It was a '67 in beautiful condition. Small score, but 100% scores don't come often.

Second bank had $6.50 loose, and $280 in rolls. In the loose, there was one silver, a '69. It was cool walking around all day with 2 silver halves clinking together in my pocket. When I got home my daughter and I went through the rolls. All were CWR, and most had old looking wrappers. One roll had the number "40" written on the side, so we were excited, but it was a bust. As we looked at the other rolls, one had a particularly worn wrapper, and it was all 40%'ers! It had 11x'67, 6x'68, and 3x'69. First time ever getting an entire roll of silver. All other rolls were skunks.

This was a great "Welcome Back" to half dollar CRH!

Late reporting last week went into local bank asked for halves teller says I have a whole box. I took it and got one 1964. I rarely get 90%ers in my boxes so I will gladly take it.
