I don't normally hunt rolls, but my kids are starting to learn about money (counting and such). I want them to have every denomination of coins ... that are reasonable to provide for them. So, I decide to pick up four rolls of half dollars at the local credit union. I got home and decide to look through them and I found a total of six 40% silver halves.

Today my first four boxes for the week, only one skunk, didn't pull much, still happy to get something. 1-64D, 1-65, 2-67, and 1-86 Nation of Imm Commemorative.  "LOVE THE HUNT!"

Just finished up my next set of 4 boxes all skunks, every box had coins I marked on 10/23/18 the day I pulled 297 NIFC coins. Met another person that has begun CRH, she was dumping 2 boxes. She also picked up 2 boxes at the same time I pickup my four, I know there is enough to go around but I really dislike watching boxes of halves leave the bank unless I am taking them out. LOL Wishing you all the best of luck finding that Christmas Silver.

Picked these up yesterday. One bank had a lone loose 40%. Stopped at another bank, teller had $2 in halves 2 of them 90% and 1 40%. I do like those percentages.  |

Hunting around Friday one bank the teller hands me 9 coins. I look and see 7 JFK Proofs and 2 I think Statue of Liberty coins. The Proofs are in very nice condition. I often wonder how these make it into circulation. Another couple of banks produced 3 40%.  |

I wonder that myself Arby. I found a 2014 Proof the other day. Thats only a 4 year old coin that was purchased in a set.

Went and picked up today, my first band didn't order, though they had 3 boxes and $200 MWR, It wasn't all bad, I pulled 7 pieces of silver, 1-64D, 2-65, 1-66, 1-67, 1-68, and 1-99S Silver Proof someone scratched up. 1-02S Clad Proof, 1-87D, I also pulled 264 more NIFC, 20-02 10P, 10D, 70-03, 41-D's, 29 P's, 40-05's, 18 D's, 22 P's, 18-06's, 7 D's and 11 P's, 17-07's, 7 D"s and 10 P's, 21-08's 10 D's and 11 P's, 79-09's, 41 D's, and 38 P's. These past couple Weeks Pulled over 500 NIFC coins. I have far too many. Wishing everyone else a great week.   "LOVE THE HUNT!"
