Nice Score Pancake, My skunk streak continues yet again, 4 boxes yesterday and today my bank did't order, one would think after 5 years of visiting that bank every Thursday to pickup halves they would not forget. Sometimes makes me wonder. They did have one box, Skunked no silver, the box contained 163 NIFC coins. 07D-9, 07P-9, 08D-39, 08P-35, 10D-17, 10P-12, 11D-19,and 11P-23. These all are GEM, Many will go BU. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, May you all find the silver you seek. Until Next week.

Went through 2 boxes this weekend of Halves. One box had (1) '64. Second box was awesome. Highlights included: - 1964 - 1965 - 1967 - 1978 Impaired Proof - 2015 Impaired Proof - 1986 S Proof Commemorative On the 2015 S Proof, I thought it was silver at first due to the edge. The second image is of the edge. It is pretty worn, but could it be silver? I see they do produce some silver proofs? Thoughts?

That 2015 S proof looks like it's silver. I would wait for other members to comment on it though before making a conclusion.

As an update on the 2015 S Proof possibly being silver. I weighed it and it came in at 12.45. So I would say it is silver, right? I think that box must have been a collection dump. Thanks all for the help.

Yes that 2015 should be silver. Its well within the margin of error. Congrats! (Fun fact: In 2015 the U.S. mint restored the half dollar back to its original 1964 obverse and reverse!)
