Picked these up on Wednesday, the teller said do you want these ugly ones of course I said yes. They are almost always silver. I don't know why the JFK halves got so dirty back then. I don't see that with Walkers Ben's or even Barber's The other teller asked if I wanted her 2 coins one was the Walker.

Two boxes this week, both Loomis, the long single layer boxes. Newest coin was a 2012, oldest were 1971, with more than a full roll of BU 1971's if I had kept them separate. There were so many I started putting one on the end of each roll, in case I wanted to go back and save them. Short story, 1 1976S, and another 1976 with missing Stars and the letter L in hall. I have some of these listed on ebay, with no takers. I have quit a few of these with missing letters in Independence, and Hall, only a few missing stars. Think I may have 4 1982 missing the FG. Hope my next 2 boxes are not Loomis. Webekin

Here is my exciting/let down story: Last week I stopped in a bank in a "less developed" part of town. (I live in the greater Detroit area, and we have some real winners.) The kind of place that doesn't get many hunters. The kind of place where you might just strike gold (or silver in this case). I do not have an account there, and I know the bank policy is to limit exchanges for non-customers to $20. I asked if they had halves and told them that I could only take $20. The teller replied that they would be happy to break that rule for me "cause nobody ever asks for them". They brought out 21 rolls. All customer wrapped. Several had writing on the outside - "SAVE" - it said. Others said things like 1972 Uncirculated, and 1974 Uncirculated. I was incredibly excited. I was about to be joining the ranks if "Big Haul" hunters. Sadly, there was no silver, and nothing worth keeping in all $210 worth. Many uncirculated 90's, even 80's and some 70's, but nothing special. Oh well. Good luck to the rest of you.

Today I picked up 8 boxes from two of me banks, I have to pick up early since I will be out of town the next couple of days, I plan on picking up my third bank today as well after I make the dump. So my first two boxes each had one 63D's Franklin's and the 68 you all see is from last weeks dump that I missed and found while dumping. At least I pulled two so far today and being 90%ers make it much better. Good luck everyone.
