Quote: So my first two boxes each had one 63D's Franklin's and the 68 you all see is from last weeks dump that I missed and found while dumping. At least I pulled two so far today and being 90%ers make it much better. Nice finds!

Arby96, that a bummer. Hopefully you'll have better luck next time.

Finally it happened. Bank teller has 2 large dollar coins he says one is really banged up. I can see it's got silver edge figured a silver Ike ( I have picked up 3 or 4 this year). He says I'll just give you the nice one I say don't worry I'll take the bad one too. I kept telling myself I would eventually get one. Not much meat on it but for a dollar investment not bad. Next bank teller does not want to sell halves to me without an account. She checks with lead teller and the lead whispers to her I can't get rid of them let him have them. This went back and forth for 20 minutes I say to lead teller I will take all 25 rolls if you want she says yes. 8 or 9 of the rolls had silver anywhere from 1 coin to 4 coins in a roll. I wound up with 2 90% and 14 40%. Quite a day of haggling.

Great finds, cabowabo! As for me, I took a month and a half off from CRH. Ordered two boxes of halves last Friday. One came in yesterday, the other will come in later today. I picked up the one box and, as per most of my boxes this year, it was loaded with 2018-D coins - 46 of them, along with 2002-P, 2003-P, 2007-D, and 2014-P NIFCs. No silver to be found... However, the 42nd roll had a very interesting coin. Not something I was expecting to find. At all. Now you're all probably wondering why I'm uploading a picture of the most common date Kennedy half there is... Well, as some of you know, there are some varieties in the 1971, 1972 and 1974 Denver issues. Until today, I had never found any of these varieties. Needless to say, when I flipped this 1971-D coin over today, I received a nice little surprise... Yes, a 1971-D without the FG initials! Here's a close-up. As you can see, there's absolutely no trace of the designer's initials!
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
