I started going through half dollar coin rolls at the end of April. I pick up 5 rolls from a different branch of my credit union each payday. I will check them, roll them with halves that I didn't need, put my initials in red on the wrapper, and exchange them for more rolls.
Back in the begging of May, I picked up my usual 5 rolls and took them home to check. To my surprise, I had a roll with 19 Franklin's and a 64 Kennedy. I was over the top thinking that I hit the jackpot. I noticed the wrapper had Ben written on the wrapper.
Two weeks later, I turned in the 3 rolls and picked up 3 more. The new roll had Ben on the side like my jackpot roll. I checked the rolls before I left the bank parking lot. To my disbelief, the three rolls were all Franklin's. I immediately went back to the bank and asked if they had anymore rolls with Ben on them. If they did, I would take everyone of them. The teller, laughing, said they have several customer rolled rolls with initials and names on them. I left the bank with another 5 rolls of Franklin's. I told myself that this would be a once in a lifetime story to tell. I got a total of 9 rolls of Franklin's from this branch.
Three weeks later, I went back to this branch again and switched out 5 rolls of Kennedy's that I had searched. I received 5 rolls with the name Walk on the side. My heart was pounding, I opened the roll at the tellers station. I just received 5 rolls of Walking Liberties. I asked the teller, to check if there are any more with this name or any other name on them I would take them. She laughed and said the only customer rolled rolls they have now were mine with the initials CP in red on the wrapper.
So that is my once in a lifetime story. I will be checking other branches of my bank to hopefully to add to this story. Wish me luck.
If anyone needs a Franklin or Walking Liberty let me know. I am needing a few coins for my Franklin and Walking Liberty collections. I would be willing to make a trade. If you need a list of the extras that I have, I can make a list.

Quote: Good point. I have attached pictures of the finds. I could not get all the Franklin's on my felt I use to look at the coins. I included a picture of the Ben wrapper just because. Quote: Here are the pictures of the Walking Liberty's. I made a mistake on the wrapper. It has the initials W L not walking. I guess I was too excited about the find. Looking good!

Wow! Thatas incredible Carlp007! Just like yourself I started coin roll hunting again earlier this year as well. A month or 2 ago I came across a similar score, but your score is a bit more impressive. I got 4 rolls from a local bank where I live that yielded 78 Franklins and 2 Walkers. I thought I hit the motherload until I read your post! Lets see some pics of your lucky coins! Continued success and good luck to everyone on the hunt
