Quote:Stopped at the bank closest to my eye DR. appointment, stop there every time I'm in town. They had 4 loose halves,4 SBA, no Ikes. Visited a little to be polite, then ask are you sure there are no rolls in the safe? Turns out they have 24 rolls. I take them all. First roll has a 1968, 5th roll has 1-67, 1-68, 2-69, a later roll had 2005P and 2005D in AU, beautiful pair. Webekin Nice finds!

I found this 1965 half dollar ender from my bank a few days ago. I searched $230 in halves, and got lucky to find just this. I am very happy with my find. Also it is 40% silver.

I lucked into finding this at a bank today, my first Classic Commemorative found in circulation, and the oldest half I've ever found, an 1893 Columbian half dollar!

Hello again everyone, Merry Christmas. I have been very busy these past few weeks, still searching, I have searched 48 boxes over the past 3 weeks, 44 boxes were skunks, 4 boxes yielded 5-405ers. 8-NIFC, and 1-87D. 1-65, 2-67 and 2-68, for silver, NIFC, 2-08D, 1-11D, 1ea 17D & P,3-18D's. so not a whole lot this past few weeks. JVandy and Carip007 I have just completed 6 years and 1 month of searching half dollars, JVandy I do keep stats on Skunk boxes and boxes with silver for two years only, All the other info I have 6 years worth. Numbers of boxes, face value and coin count, proof finds, NIFC Finds, Commemorative finds, Errors finds, magic coins, I log just about everything. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, may you all be blessed this Christmas. Until next week, Keep Stacking!!!
"LOVE THE HUNT!"
