Great finds ! It's been very slow the past two months: mostly skunks with the exception of 4 1964, 1 Franklin and 18 40% scattered across 25 boxes. However, after 5 skunks last week my Christmas came early with 8 40% Enders in 1 box! All in all, 53 40% in just one box. It's amazing how you can get 10 skunks and then bam-1 box loaded with silver! The middle roll was a double ender. Merry christmas to all! I'm hoping this streak continues:)   |

NICE HAUL SILVER EAGLE Last week I got 14 more boxes found 2, 40% and 1, 90% not much, but better than a total skunk. I'm suppose to get 12 more boxes this Friday wish me luck.  |

Awesome Haul Silver Eagle, I am done searching for the rest of the year. My last 16 yielded me 4-40%ers, 1-65, 1-66, 1-67, and 1-69. I pulled 1-87D and 1-16D. I searched 575 boxes this year, $287,500. I pulled from circulation 182 90%ers, and 758 40%ers. Total Face value searched since I started is, $1,632,145 in half dollars, that is 3,265,290 coins searched. This year I made approximately $3,154 is silver value as of today. Wishing you all the best in the new year. My goal is to break 2 million worth of half dollars searched, That will require extra boxes to order next year. Arby, you are the most dedicated high volume searcher I am aware of. You earn every silver coin you find. My hat is off to you.

My volume of searching of halves has been poor this year. I have been too busy to get to the bank and msot banks lack any loose or customer wrapped halves anymore. All my searching this year was in the week right before Christmas, $63 in customer wrapped rolls. I got 2x 40% and 2 90% plus a bonus 04S silver proof. Despite how few I searched this year, I got the most proofs ever in an entire year, 5. I'm hoping I will have more time to search in 2020. I strongly prefer customer wrapped rolls or loose. I have had no luck at all with ordering halves from banks, I think due to extensive searching in my region of the country. I actually am having a lot more fun lately with dollar roll searching. I scored 21 Ikes (all BU 1976D) this year, plus numerous Sacagawea and Presidential dollars that are not intended for circulation (like Ford, Johnson, Taft, Wilson etc and 2002-2008 dated Sacagawea dollars). I occasionally get a 79P wide rim SBA, and occasionally score some Presidential or SAC proofs. But this is for another thread.... Today I stopped at a little bank inside a supermarket I usually ask if they have any half dollars never gotten any good finds here until today. So today the teller says he has a roll of halves of course I'll take them , open it up first thing I see is 67 Dump out the rest of the roll, 2x1965, 4x1966,7x1967,5x1968,2x1969 ,20 silvers total

Last week I went through 12 boxes, found 4, 40% not much but at least not a total loss. This Friday have 10 more boxes coming hopefully better results.  |
