JDSHEROD, I am only using $2,000 to purchase $10,000 a week. This is a five day a week process for me. Being retired, this hobby keeps me active and I am making a little extra money. Maybe I'm not as retired as I think I am. I pick up one day, search, dump the next day and go pickup another $2000 and so on. I see you are purchasing at least $1000 a week, now go get a bank for the next day. I am lucky to live in a small town and every bank I work with is friendly and happy to let me continue to play. These banks all order for me on a specific day of the week and I always let them know if I can't make it and so they don't order. Build a good relationship with the banks it goes a long way. Good Luck and welcome again to the community.

Arby96, thanks for the reply. So if I understand this, you've set up accounts at lots of different local banks that you can order boxes through? I've just been going to the local bank that I use for all my accounts. Thanks, Jon

@jdsherod, yes I Have accounts at all the banks except one, Its the best way to make the most of my $2000. Two of them are a credit union, there are three branches here and one is a well fargo, one first national bank and bank 34. I found it helpful to communicate and explain to the branch manager what you are doing and what personal goals you have. Good Luck

I guess my ultimate question is, "what do you guys do with all this silver you are finding?" At some point I imagine you've found great examples for your collection, but what about the rest of it? Rolls of date and mintage on ebay? Jon

I got a 1969-D 40% silver half from a gas station near my house. A friend of mine who works there saved it for me.

Jdsherod, I hoard my silver for now, waiting for silver to go over $30.00 an ounce. Its a 15 Year plan for me. Unless something comes up I am in a holding pattern!
