Quote: I got a 1969-D 40% silver half from a gas station near my house. A friend of mine who works there saved it for me. Excellent!

I sell all 40% halves and either accumulate 90% halves, or buy 99.99% ASEs.

It has been a long time, but I traded a batch of found silver half dollars for most of the Franklin half dollars I needed for my Dansco.

Nice Score Trapper, This week I cracked open 20 boxes, 18 skunks, the other two boxes produced 4 pieces of silver. 1-65,1-66, 1-67,and 1-68. Wishing you all the best of luck. Also hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Never Give Up and Keep Stacking.!

Had 2 boxes last Friday. First box had a 1941P, 1968, 1969, and a 1977S. Second box was a bust. Still fun. Opened the 1st box and pulled some rolls, only to find they looked to have been opened, and written on. There were no marked coins in the first box, but there were a lot of marked coins with lines, circles and dates in the second box. Webekin

Nice finds everyone, congrats 10 more boxes Friday all skunks, there was no proofs or NIFC'S this was some of the worst boxes I ever got. The halves were between 1971-2001. Well I gotta keep trucking away until I hit another silver vein. That is the way this game works and it is fun. Best of luck to everyone next week..

Going through some old coin roll hunting finds now with that I am stuck in the house. This JFK found coin has lettering, date, and details missing, but seems like it is different than just normal wear, as the edge and profile are in tack. The back of the coin looks normal as well. Could it be Grease Filled Die, worn die, or something else? Thoughts?
