Nice Score Cabo, What area of the country are you searching in? Well If I didn't have that backup bank last week, I would have had a skunk week, my last four boxes for the week were skunks. Loomis Boxes have not produced lately. I won't be picking up from that bank again, for another week. That is my hit and miss bank. LOL The week was still a good one. I stopped in a Chase bank today. Had a really disjointed conversation with the teller. Me: Do you have any halves? Teller: No Me: Ok Teller: maybe we have in the vault. You can back on Monday to get them. I will check. Me: Thank you Teller: Yes. We have $100. Me: Can you get them for me now? Teller: Yes. Please wait. .......... Teller: I am sorry. We don't have halves. They are dollars. Me: No problem. BTW do you have any Big dollars? Teller: Yes. (Reaches into drawer and removes 12 HALF DOLLARS!) Me: Those are halves. I'll take them. (Eyes some silver edges) Got a beautiful toned 1961 Benny and a 1967 JFK   |

Hello Everyone, BigSilver, I wonder if their being paid $15.00 an hour working in a bank and not knowing the difference between half dollars and Ike dollars. LOL, Last week I cracked open 14 boxes, 4 contained silver for a total of 7 pieces, 1-64, 1-65, 2-67, 2-68 and 1-69, also pulled 1-11P NIFC. Missed my weekly goal by 3 pieces. Hope you all have a great week. I hit the big 60 Wednesday, a monster box would be awesome. Haven't seen one of those for years. Have a great week everyone.  "LOVE THE HUNT!"

So, it finally happened. I found my first silver half (1968-D). It ONLY took $3,072 worth of hunting halves to find it! Also, I think I found a 1982-P No FG, as well! http://goccf.com/t/385819 Happy hunting! |

BCH congrats on your first silver score! The more boxes you search the better the odds. Be careful, when you hit that box with 20, 30 or more you may never give up. Been searching since Nov 2013, I told my banks I thought I would only try it for a year when I started. Have fun and don't give up and silver will find you.

Got these a couple of days ago. Almost all 9 90% and 11 40% came from one bank.  |
