Hybes, Cabo and Web, congrats on your finds. Last week I cracked 12 boxes 3 contained silver. 2-64's 1 a D. 1-67 and 1-68. Plus 1 NIFC 2008. The silver is trickling in. I like the fact that over the past two weeks 50% of my finds were 90%ers. That rarely happens. Hope you all have a great week. I'm 7 weeks away from breaking $2 Million Half Dollars searched since I started searching. I am think of taking a break after this milestone. I guess it all depends how the search is going. Numbers have dropped off a lot finding silver. What is great about my area not many are searching here. They loose interest quickly due to a lack of success finding silver. We will keep everyone informed. Gook Luck everyone.

Quote: ... three of the rolls were original government wrapped NIFC rolls - 2007-D, 2014-P, and 2014-D! Excellent!

Stopped to get my normal 2 boxes. Head teller, said she wanted to show me something. Opened one of the boxes and removed a roll that the ender was a Japan coin. She wanted a better look so I opened it, and it turned out to be a 50 SEN 1898 model of 80% silver. Value is all over the place, $24.00-49.00, so it has some value. More on the rest of the boxes later. This is my oldest coin to date. Webekin So the 2 boxes yielded 2 - 1969 2 - 2005D and a 2007D. Not exceptional boxes, but I'll take them. GL HH Webekin

Incredible luck! Got 10 Kennedy rolls at Credit Union that were hand rolled from a customer. They were glad to get rid of them. I found 14 coins with silver! 1 1964 1 1965 2 1966 4 1967 4 1968 D 2 1969 D There were no Kennedy half dollars newer then 1977 and most coins had few, if any nicks. Must have been wrapped and sitting a long time! Most of the other coins looked AU/BU with some XF mixed in. Photos of the find and a sample of the quality of clad coins.

And yes, this is usually the case, I've noticed. Whenever I go to banks to pick up coins, I try to always ask if they have any Halves. The loose coins and customer wrapped rolls I've bought over the past five years have been very good to me overall - much better than boxes, for sure.

Congrats Diy89Nurm7, on your customer wrapped rolls, I have always done better on boxes here in my small town. Don't get to many CWR around here. I cracked 12 boxes this week, I thought it was going to be my first skunk week for the year. I did pull 1-68. Better than nothing. Wishing you all an awesome weekend. Good Luck.
