JFK Half Dollar Roll Hunters: Silver, Proofs And Other Finds

Outstanding!

I picked up 14 boxes about 3 weeks ago, one bank had a couple extra boxes so I took them. Interestingly, I think I had 7 or 8 skunk boxes but one box had 3 or 4 silvers. I ended up with some nice finds though, (8) 90% and (1) 40%. including (2) Walking Liberties and another first for me, a proof 1964 90%! I almost missed it as a proof, when I found the coin, it looked sort of washed out, I thought it might have been dipped or lightly cleaned. When I was admiring the 9 coins in the silver stack, I noticed one really had a thick square edge we see on clad proofs. Upon further inspection, I could see the mirrors were about gone from circulation and handling but there was enough reflectivity and lack of bags marks that I could tell this was a definite proof. Another bucket list, 90% proof find! Also found a neat lowball...2000-P that is a Fair or About Good.
