I went to the bank today and my favorite teller had ordered a box of halves for me. I usually don't order as I don't have 500 dollars laying around. She brought it out and there were at least 5 silver enders! I bought the whole box ($490 left) and I've searched approximately half so far and I've found 88 40% and (3) 90% silver halves! I can't believe it! This beats the box from a few months ago by far. I'll share some pictures when I'm done later this week.

I finished going through the box. Totals include 5 1964 90% and 178 65-69 40%. Also found a 1977 proof. The photo shows the 1964 at left going to the proof at far right. This is probably a one in a lifetime find...hopefully not!

Been a while since I've posted on this thread... despite my username, I mostly search cents now. Finding wheats is a lot more fun than being repeatedly skunked on silver. You guys deserve a lot of credit for putting in the time on searching halves. BUT! Occasionally I'll ask a bank if they happen to have any halves in their tills, and then just get a few and roll them back up once they all prove to be beat up 1970s-onward Kennedys. Yesterday... I was picking up a box of pennies, and asked the teller if they had any halves lying around. They said that they had about $10.00 worth, so I said I'd take them and have a look. The teller started counting them up to get the exact number, and I heard the distinctive rattle of SILVER! Saw a lot of bright, non-coppery edges from my side of the counter, and couldn't wait to get to the car and see what I had. 19 40%-ers!!! One solid roll! My best CRH silver score ever, and probably second best CRH score (after the 1983 DDR-001 LMC that I found ten years ago.)
