I am offically back to checking boxes of half dollars. I searched 2 boxes earlier this week Skunked which I posted. I just finished up 4 boxes today 2 skunked boxes and the other 2 boxes had 1-1966 and 1-1968, Pulled a 2008 clad proof, 1-2016P NIFC, Plus a nice 1987D. Not great yet better than nothing.

For the last several weeks the only thing I can get is complete boxes of 2021 D halves, most banks in my area say they cannot get boxes of halves, I tried quarters and same new ones complete boxes. very frustrating.

Nice finds Cabo! Arby, very nice, some silver, a proof, and a super nice '87, I always like finding those, I think of that year as a more real NIFC date compared to 2002 - 2020, I think the mint dumped many unsold or slightly defective coins into circulation for those years.

Thrilled to be searching halves again! Called a random bank today, they had some rolls and a few loose. Got 1 40% out of the loose and another from the rolls! First silver from a machine wrapped roll in a while.
Also found a half with two obverses! Probably a machining job, but it was so well done I thought it was a mule at first. Definitely a keeper!

3 weeks worth of finds, 10 boxes each week, week 1 - 2 40% silvers, week 2 - 3 90% including a Walker!, week 3, 1-90%, 1-40%. Found two proofs, one very nice, one not so nice.
