I am aware Russ, the bank doesn't like revealing who their carrier is, nor am I gonna find out as I am working when they drop off the shipments. But I will refer to them as such because I can. ^_^

I don't know why they would have an issue telling you. Every bank I have asked told me w/o question. Are you getting your boxes from a big bank or a local?

I get my boxes from Harris bank. From what I understand they service only a couple states in the midwest. I don't know why revealing that would be an issue, but the tellers I have asked kinda gave me the eye and said they don't want us discussing that info.

I made a stop at the drive-up window to cash a check this afternoon and one of the tellers there I know ran up to the window and handed a '36 Walker to me. Hey, it pays to be a good boy.

TCF went out of their way to tell me that they wouldn't even let me know what day coins are delivered (and I didn't even ask).

my banks wont tell me either.. Dumb question... lol.. I have all these lose bags of half dollars.. most of the time I'm am opening the cwrs whiling I'm driving. so I dont always keep the best track of how much is in the bag. so then when I go to dump I'm counting thousands of dollars to make sure how much money I have in each bag before I dumb because I dont trust the dump machines. prob. because I'm so new.. do you guys weigh your money on scales to maybe seperate your dump bags into 1k bags. if so what scale do you use.. or how.. thanks

Franklin,
There is no right or wrong way to "dump" your coins. I break mine into $500 bags. However, I still get shorted. I guess it's just a cost of doing business. Some weeks you win, some you lose.

I have no Idea if I get shorted or not. I mix halves with dimes, nickels, pennies, whatever I go through. I look at it as a cost of doing business.

One of the tellers that used to be enthusiastic about helping me was nice enough to give me a bunch of bank bags for me to keep. As I am opening each roll I discard all the clads into a bag until the box is empty. I keep em separated this way and it makes it really easy to see if I am getting shorted or not.
