Hello everyone, first post. I was wondering what banks have coin counting machines for customers in their lobbies. I only know of one in my area. I'm thinking I'll just have to walk in to some different banks and check.

Coinxing
I would call your local banks and ask if they have a coin counting machine and is it free to people with accounts.

90% not too shabby.

The melt alone on the Peace, 90%halves, dimes, and quarters is a little over $300.

What's the story on "the tavern?" Were you there for a beer and some guy was like "hey I have a bunch of coins if you want to buy them?"

Russ789, if he's anything like me, that's probably just his coin dealer friend. Mine, who goes by "Guido," operates in much the same fashion. Aside from just great deals on rare coins, he specializes in jewelry, fine furs, electronics equipment, and general train-wreck related merchandise (when available), all at discounted prices! Find him at Agostino's, Elmwood Park, Harlem at Grand, back table, most nights...

Finally back to business. I picked up my friday night box at the same bank that has been stinking it out. Here's the take.

14 Franklins(some in AU condition)
15 1964
1 1965
2 1966
12 1967
3 1969
2 NIFC
1 1974s beat to all heck

Tomorrow I am going to get $200 from the bank where I found 1 Barber, 1 Franklin and 1 1964 in a
single roll. Keep your fingers crossed. I am pumped. No sleep tonight.
