3 boxes this week - the first was the "winner" with a 64 and a 67, the other two were duds (1 measly NIFC in each). Found 3 rolls at various banks that were duds too. Oh well, hope my luck isn't running out!

90 - I would enjoy searching 12+ boxes per week, but as you say, dumping is brutal. Must be great when you have a big pile of silver though.
I have 2 boxes waiting from the company that has been giving me skunks. Did not stop the teller in time. However, I also have 4 boxes coming from 2 new banks. Next week should be fun.

And here is my first post ... Generally I am not a big roll searcher, - so far searched about $200 in halves with 0% success rate until today . I don't (yet) order boxes, or anything hardcore like that : ) So today I checked a WF branch I never checked before ... they said they don't have any rolls, only $3.50 (7 coins) in the drawer. I said I'll take those (I still have a lot of holes in the 1970+ range) , and ... 6 out of 7 coins turned out to be 40%-er :) 5x68D + 1x67 + 72 So , it's 7 out of 8 and 0 out 400 .. Go figure ... It's very sad they didn't have more :)

Snagged 17x 40% and 4x '64 out of a $130 coffee can of halves at a mid-sized regional bank a few days ago.
I only had $110 (I had spent $100 on a half-strap of deuces at the last bank) and I said just take $20 out... but when she took out a bunch of silver I said wait, let me go get those twos! Turned out all the silver except one was on top of the pile. Must've been one natural silver in the middle, and a newly dumped roll on the top!

I just bought a roll of halves last week from my bank. I'm in Foley, Alabama They only had one roll but here is what my $10 yielded: 1969-D 1 1971-D 1 1971 1 1972-D 2 1972 1 1973 1 1980-D 1 1981-D 3 1983-P 2 1983-D 1 1984-D 1 1994-P 1 1996-P 2 1997-P 1 2000-P 1 I was really impressed with the quality of some of the coins. I'm still very new to the Coin World, like 2 weeks into the hobby, so I will not speculate on the grades of the coins buy I do intend to be surprised when I have them graded during the coming week. Take care everyone!!

Its been a bit since I posted. Finished off a couple boxes this past week. One box had 1 40% and the other had 6 40% which for me, is a huge win. Other good news is that my local Wells got a lobby coin counter. No charge to customers, 5% to non customers. So this is awesome when I cash in a couple boxes of halves and nickels. So with the finds that I have been accumulating over the past 14mths of roll searching I cashed probably 95% of it in. Bought some uncirculated halves for my dansco, nearly finished with that (2 holes left on my circulated set). Also decided I am putting together a Dansco 7070 set. Picked up a 1898S PCGS MS66 and a 1905 PCGS MS65 for pretty much nothing with my trade of silver.
