Very cool large cent!

I have gone through about 12,000 coins now, and found 1 1987 Kennedy half. Has anyone found a good number of them? They don't seem to be that common in circulation.

Scott, it took me about 4 months of half roll hunting until I found my first 1987. Amazingly, the 1987-P I found roll hunting is in much better shape than the 87-P I picked up at the coin shop for my Whitman album! It was my lucky day I guess.

Where do you all get the boxes of half dollars? Every place around here gets bags of $1,000 (2k coins). So far I've tried all the major banks in my town and they all use Loomis and they come in the bags. Those bags just about break my back.

I cannot get the bags. I would rather have the bags. I go to Wachovia aka Wells Fargo.

17 banks for 4 67's 90percenters? That is a LOT of work for less than 20 bucks in silver! At least you didn't get skunked!

Blugh picked up 150$ in halves today from the bank.. nothing of any interest. Also the halves were all marked with red markers.. that is SO annoying. Why do people deface coins like that! What a bust. >:O
