I've got two different branches at two different banks at which I can pick up a total of four boxes, right now, if I want them. I don't. Let this dump cycle run itself out before I go visit those two, again.

Let the others there have them, we're getting some pennies.

Change if pace for me today.

So my usual weekly box looked different today. It was a short box with yellow writing And the wrappers were white and black. I will post pics later on.

So anyway... Final tally:
12......40%!
2.......90%! 1964-d and 1942-d walker in xf!
1972-s impaired

This new box made me feel pretty lucky. I usually get brink boxes and this one did say Harrisburg on it which made me think it was string n sons but the wrappers were white black and nothing else on em. I also had a lot of rolls short and plus 1 tooo

So to top that, I go across the street to the CU, convenient I know, and get $80 in dimes and get:
1942-s with full bands ! No joke! I got a pic but can't get on the big computer till later.

also had a lot of coins stamped with an 'F', pics below..

I was wondering how rare of a find a half dollar with the presidential seal on both sides is. I would appreciate any input on the subject.

There is no such of thing from the mint. It would have to have been done post mint. Most likely a magician coin or someone with too much time on their hands in shop class. Does the coin sound hollow? If not can you see a line on the edge that would indicate a glued together coin?

Greetings all,

Hit up four small towns today and did decent. $350 in halves and came up with the following:

2 @ 90% (both 64 Kennedys - one looks to be from a proof set or at least never saw circulation - just an awesome looking piece!)
2 @ 40% (both 69 D Kennedys)
14 NIFC (2002 - 2007 P & D, doubles of 2003)
14 BU 99-2001 P & D

The brilliant 64 Kennedy was in a roll with the NIFCs and BUs. I suspect someone to have culled their collection and they put something in the wrong stack. That batch of halves also contained two rolls of solid bicentennials save one 71. Those two rolls have already made it to my local coin counting machine. Also scored five Eisenhower dollars today - all clad - but still fun!

- Scott
