I got through 2 Friday boxes today.

One shiny 1965 from the first, skunkeroo in the second.

I usually don't mind skunks if I at least have the hope for finding anything. There were multiple marked coins in every roll, some marked 3 or 4 times.

I was shopping in somebody's dump.

5 BofA boxes Friday. No silver and a lot of marked coins. I even found a few that were marked "3-4-11." Also, looks like someone dumped a $100FV bag of 1993 as I found a bunch that appeared to be BU.

Interestingly, I did find 2-1987P

That's a bummer Russ. It seems like those coins must have a turn around of only a few weeks. I wonder if there's a way to dig deeper into the back of the Fed's storage closet...

I've got 11 boxers coming in this week from three different branches. All the branches are starting to give me boxes with the same stamp on them, so I assume they're all coming from the same place.

So far I've already opened about a dozen boxes with this stamp number and only found a couple of coins.

Benwho...these are not FED boxes, they are from BofA. Since BofA does not have coin machines I am assuming someone took a large bag of these loose to a branch. BofA will ship them off to be counted. A couple week turn around sounds about right for that method of deposit.

From a teller's drawer, I got a 1963 Franklin.

While not a silver coin, but still cool nonetheless, I picked up $36 in $1 silver certificates as well.

I searched 2 boxes this weekend. Box 1 was a skunk. Box 2 had 2 40%. I am definitely seeing some of my old coins. The area I am in is populated and the coin carrier I get from is the big playyer in the market. So, there is a lot of sources for coins in the boxes I get, but not a lot of alternate places to take the coins.

Also, SilverRoosevelt - your Bennie is 90% silver. Nice get.
