Oooo 90 that would burn me up. Gotta wonder if maybe they spotted a frankin/WL on the top of a roll or something.

Or maybe you shot the goose that laid the golden egg by over doing it. You have found a good amount of silver but sounds like your gig is up.

90percenters, dude, if you're going to the extreme of casing the deliveries at the banks, you really ought to be considering taking a break from this. If that's what went on over there, though, you're had at that bank; say good bye.

ITs just pure luck that brinks was there.

hmmm well someone asked about my box. It was sealed still by the brown tape that I think Brinks puts on the boxes. My bank didn't go through them I know that. The teller orders the boxes for me and the other tellers there save me silver they get.
I have received one other box that was clearly gone through since the rolls were the ones that are crimped ones and one side was folded over and gone through, and the other rolls the person must have broken were replaced by different old used wrappers. Oh well maybe next week we can find something. I have gone through 200 bucks of the box this week and found nothing no NIFC which is something I was at least hoping to find

You're cooked at that bank, though. If they do continue to feed you, it'll be a steady diet of dumps. I don't know how they know, but they do. It's happened to us.

Hey Guys! I had a question. Do your banks charge you 8 cents for every dollar coin that you go over 100$. Another member in one of the forums told me this is so!? I have never heard of this.. can someone please confirm they are encountering that at their banks and whether this is a community bank or large bank policy? Just curious.. thanks again! :)

I'm convinced you can bypass any fee by building a good relationship. I have done this in my area and now I am to the point where I don't have to roll it or put it in a coin counter. I fill a large plastic coin bag, tell them how much I have, they give me cash. If the receipts don't match brinks, she told me she would call. In 6 months she has never called. If anything I try to be a little over if I am not completely sure. Cost of doing business.

Treating ALL tellers and managers with respect is the absolute most important thing. They are your key to success.

Also bringing in doughnuts once in a while doesn't hurt either.

BTW this is not a small bank either. It is a large regional bank.

These are 26-pound boxes. They're breaking their backs for us just lugging them up to the counter week after week. How long do you think they're going to keep doing that before it occurs to them to ask what's in it for them?

I got 1 box, 0 silver, 3 NIFC, 2 proofs.
Not so bad. The silver is gone. Might stop looking soon.
Not really worth the time.

3 boxes, String n Sons gave me one 67 and one 66. I'm starting to wonder if I should sell all these 40% halves and buy some 90% now that I have a good amount. Or are people generally saving the 40%'s?
