That sucks...I would at least crack the rolls and edge check them. Sounds like your bank turned into someone's dump bank.

Cracked like 10 or 15 of them before I realized that these were not brinks rolls. And every coin had the black dot on the back. I went ahead and cracked them all so at least his stuff will get mixed back in with other stuff.

Kind of annoying, because almost all of these were 1971 coins, but some of them looked like they were just taken off the presses. There is a 2002 one that looks like it was just made, but it's got the dot on it.

This has probably been discussed, but is this illegal? Like I'm kind of nervous that if I go dump 1000 dotted coins they will think I did it.

First off, it's not illegal to mark the coins. Secondly, who will know?

Sp, I had 10-box skunk runs as long as 3 years ago, I also saw more competition 3 years ago than I do now. It was "drying up" back then too, silver is constantly trickling into the system.

Picked up 2 boxes, yet to be opened, but stopped by a bank I usually dont hit. They had "2 of those big dollar coins" (LOL) and had $63.50 in the bag on the counter if I wanted it. I will take anything from a bag any day! 1915S Barber, a '67, '09P, and a '63 two shilling. If I could pull that out of every $63 I buy I would be an extremely happy guy!

Figured I would go big this week and ordered 5 Boxes. Things look to be back on schedule with low returns lately.

1 90% Kennedy
1 1968 Kennedy
1 1977S Proof
So many NIFCs I sent em back to the wild.

However I may have found something in my Penny Box which I am posting on another thread.

Fri morn before work I swung by the CU to run 5 rolls through the counter. Two coins in, the machine stopped, bag full ($500). Asked teller to buy it, went out to the truck to search. Pulled out 27 40%, 1 Sac$, 3 gold pres$, quarters, nicks and dimes. The bag was over by almost $8 in change.
