Where are you all getting boxes of halves? Just wondering. I have gone to 3 local banks and none have any halves. Well, 1 teller had $4.00! They said that they don't keep them and only have them when a customer deposits. Thanks! I know the 65-69 halves are still out there since recently a friend of mine got them it a bank deposit (a teller).

Just curious; all you folks that get these rolls and boxes - what do you do with the remaining coins after you've extracted your finds? Do you re-roll them, and take them back to the same bank? Do you just keep and spend them? The latter would seem expensive, or time-consuming, if you're getting boxes, or lots of rolls...

I sold $70 face of the 40% Kennedys and a roll of Morgan/Peace culls that I bought for cheap a year ago recently to upgrade my Morgan collection. From that sale I have been able to get the following(and I still have abou $160 left over): 1878 CC Morgan in MS63/64 condition 1882 CC Morgan NGC MS 63 1883 CC Morgan NGC MS 63 1878 S Unc/MS 1879 P Unc/MS 1880 P Unc/MS 1880 P Unc/MS 1881 O Unc/MS 1883 O Unc/MS 1888 P Unc/MS 1900 P Unc/MS (All of these are in the 62-64 range) and 1 2005 ASE (brilliant MS) 2 2008 ASEs (brilliant MS) I am posting this to show why I love roll searching (and I may post this elsewhere also). Straight bullion is nice, but the coins can also be effectively traded for nice coins to upgrade a collection.

Searched 1 box today. 2 90% (a 45'P Walking Liberty and a 64'P Kennedy) and 2 40%. The Walking Liberty is in VG or better condition; I always love finding them even if it is a common date. One more box tomorrow (I think) and that is all for the week.

Ah man, I was so stoked all day to get home and crack into one of these half-dollar boxes and I flip the lid open and every. single. roll. has a black sharpie dot on the base of the eagle. Do I even bother sorting these...?
