chuckster, do you just walk up to your bank teller and order 8 boxes at a time?
My teller at Wells Fargo looked at me funny when I ordered 2 boxes.
Searched one box tonight.

Holy crap!! How do you get bags? I asked if I could get them and they told me no, only boxes. Also who did you get them from? :)
GREAT finds. I hope I can find a barber some day.

Nice pickup SCP. Why I love bags. Curious, did you find a lot of other junk (trash, damaged coins, other denominations) in your bag?

OK, I am going to ask again as well....WHAT BANK DOES BAGS? Sorry to yell, but I ask at my banks and they can only do boxes.

I'm not sure but my guess would be the banks that have bags are banks that have coin counters. I think a lot of coin that banks order now come rolled, years ago it was not so.

A few of us have done the ground work necessary to find out how to get them. I really doubt anyone here will disclose what bank they get the bags from. I know the same identical bank 6 blocks from my supply bank cant order bags. Just mine does and I intend to keep it that way. |

Congratulations on your secret about bags !
I just wish the miners who are not coin collectors and are out there only looking for silver didnt mark the coins as they do because real coin collectors are having a hard time with those markers !
Did a box today and all coins were marked , the biggest miner is one with fine black marker 90% of the coins 5% was red marker and 5% blue . I cant wait for the silver coins desapear forever from circulation so the true coin collector will be able to find the dates and mm without the markes on it !

what is the difference between "real coin collector" If greed is real, The only difference is who has more money and who works harder! There is too much whining  Edited by 90percenters

Let me put it out there...the only difference between boxes and bags is the bank paid for the bag to be rolled up. Boxes are not better than bags and vice-versa. End of the story. |
