akane17 Valued Member United States 404 Posts	Posted 07/28/2011 11:22 am Has anyone found throughout their hunting that they get more silver during the early week vs. late week shipments? My bank gets deliveries on Tuesdays and Fridays. I have had almost no success when I get a Tuesday shipment and see much better results with the Friday shipments. This goes for dimes and halves, don't have enough input on cents and nickels to weigh in either way. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm just really happy that I have found a minimum of 2 silver in all but one of my boxes (which was no silver but a proof and 2008 pres coin). One box I had 6! CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 07/28/2011 7:42 pm I ask banks to order boxes, but some banks won't order them, and the others get them so slowly that I only get one once in a while. I've never gotten silver in a box, so I don't know why I bother. I do get silver halves occasionally when banks have loose or customer wrapped rolls. Out of the 8 boxes, 2 were skunks. 1 box had the 3 barbers, 3 Walkers, 4 Franklins and 6 JFK's and 2- 40%er's 1 Box had almost half of the total find, around 60 coins. The other 4 boxes combined made up the difference. I get 8 boxes each week - 4 each from 2 different banks. Till next week on Halfs: Good Luck hunting to all! Report this Post to the Staff
