Has anyone been getting gold plated halves lately? I found 2 this week and probably another 2-3 about a month ago. This week both were 2008.

I am not at all lazy and I do mark coins. I want to know if the coins I have been dumping are coming back my way. If so, then I know the odds of me finding anything are now lower. And how exactly does me doing that indicate I dont care for the hobby? Me marking up coins that arent worth anything other than spending money (if they were actually collectable they wouldnt leave my house at all now would they?) hardly makes me uncaring or a pig.

Its been so bad the past few weeks I wasn't surprised when I kept getting skunks in 90 bucks of CWR. Its amazing how much a 5 dollar rise in price can seem to do. But the last five rolls 1967, 1966, and 1968d baby!
I got the silver fever a burning which can only be quenched with that satin ivory substance (or gold or something more valuable).

holey moley how do you put up with that? Were they concentrated in a few boxes or was it spread out?

Put up with that? More than one silver per box is a great average.

30 boxes is a huge amount and with those numbers there are probably several skunks not to mention the hassle of transporting and dumping. I got enough grief with 2 boxes a month.

Talking about halves , brinks provide us the longest streaks and the lesser average percentage of silver ! I saying that not only based on my results but in general after study the results on this tread !

Got another decent bag this weekend. Lots of foreign and assorted coins mixed in. It was a $1K bag.
48 - 40% 11 - 90% kens 4 franks 2 walkers
3 impaired S proofs $10.62 in extra change 1 - British new pence 4 - Ecuador 50 centavos 1 - Costa Rica 100 colones
Also got back one of my own marked coins that I sent out a few months ago. So I am actually getting a few of mine own searched coins.
