I am new to the forum and been coin roll hunting for halves for two weeks now. From my travels to 15 banks in Charlotte NC I am up 6 64s and 24 40%s. This week I ordered my first 4 Brinks boxes, they will be in on Tuesday, and will update. The BB&T I ordered them from told me they are switching to Loomis in three weeks. Is this better or worse for finding silver?

rskula! It doesn't matter who you get the boxes from, IMHO. Some here will say that it does, and there are rumors about every company, but I honestly don't think it matters. It's all luck-of-the-draw. Happy Hunting!

Welcome! I'm in Rock Hill (just south of you) and the BofA I order from have all been skunks and they use Loomis I think. Will double check when I pick up another box tomorrow.

Hit 6 banks today came up with $140 in what looks like Brinks rolls and 232.50 in customer rolls. Brinks were all skunks, hope it does not forecast my boxes tomorrow. The costumer yielded 8 40%s. Also had a 2001, 2000, and 1996 deep proof cameos with only some hair lines in the field. Not a bad day of hunting.

Where on earth are you located SilverCoinPicker? a couple pages back you got a monster box with 324 40% and 21 90%, and now you got a similar monster box. Though that sort of thing happens a lot less often. congrats!

Silver Coin Picker and Ricardo, my jaw DROPS every time I see your posts! I get excited if I ever find TWO in a box. Your one find is more than my entire history of searching. I am happy for you, but quite discouraged myself :(

seriously, that's a ridiculous amount of silver. you should be embarrassed...or ashamed...something...put it all back in circulation at once! ;-)...I've don't think I've ever pulled silver from a box. I've gotten lucky with CWRs once, but not with boxes. and yet I've still got a box coming for me on wednesday...

I think both boxes was a 1000 bag. Someone just dumped a mother load. I have never in my life found this much. I've been coin hunting for 8 years I'm in oklahoma.

Well like someone mentioned, you definitely earned your name. And you definitely deserve those monster boxes if you have been at it 8 years. Way to go!
