The only way that I know to get half dollars is from the coin counting machine from the bank but that takes months to get $500 worth. I figured that this is the best place to ask this question. I picked my usual 4 boxes and came across 66 silver keepers - 5 90% JFK and 61 40%JFK. Here's the breakdown: Box1 - 37 40%, 1 90% Box2 - 15 40%, 4 90% Box3 - 7 40% Box4 - 2 40% I haven't had a box like #1 in over a year. Have 2 more coming tomorrow and hope to continue my success. agibby5 Valued Member United States 139 Posts	Posted 10/14/2011 5:47 pm My girlfriend was off work today and had to go to the courthouse. I knew of a bank about a block away. I asked her to go in and ask for half dollars. I didn't have any cash though, so I gave her about $22 in quarters I had laying around! :) She ended up not going to the bank I asked her to, which was great. She went to a Sovereign bank which only had a loose half. She then went next door to another bank where they had a roll of halves and miscellaneous halves (none good). When I saw the roll, I knew in my heart what was about to happen. When I opened them, I was in disbelief! A solid roll of 1964s, mostly in GREAT condition!
