Nice finds, guys!
It seem like everyone's getting some luck this time of the year.
I ordered a box from Chase and should be able to bring it home today after school :) I'll post the results in several hours.
Rest in Peace

MC made back in the day were silver, for example, I have double-headed Peace and Morgan dollars. Since they are meant to be somewhat familiar, they are usually current coins.

My latest MC was actually two sided 1984 heads. I have found about a dozen or more of them so far. They are slightly more rare than a 1987 for example, at least from my experience. Most are heads/tails and only the weight/ sound give them away. If you know what you are looking for, they jump out at you when you find them very easily.

thanks for pointing out the MC, I know what to look for now. I finished up with 3 more 68d but have not finished looking for DDO's yet. so a total of 1-64, 3-67, 6- 68, 1-69, the commemorative coin and what looks like the 71D DDO.

This maybe due to somewhat higher mintages but does anyone else notice a particular year (or two) where there are a greater number of clads in very good condition? I see a disproportionate number of '96 and somewhat less '97 that look AU/BU at least.

'96 and '97 mintages were on the high side for Kennedy's I guess but not enough to explain why I see so many '96 in very good condition. Much more so than even later years. Except for NIFC years of course.

Anyone else who bothers to look at clads (not just rim searching for silver) see something similar?

Snapper, I also see a very high number of 1996 in almost uncirculated condition. I couldn't figure out why either... However, after 5 boxes, I still need a 1997D... so I'm not sure what's up with that!

I have not been searching recently due to my money has been tied up in a new bed. But now I am back and I plan to start again. I hope to have big finds to report soon.
